When I caught the Northern Lights in Tallinn

After several missed occasions I finally got a chance to capture this incredible phenomena over the Baltic Sea from Tallinn! I found myself lucky to be at the right place at the right time to take during a hour multiple photos of the northern lights. For a first try I couldn’t be happier and despite having took average pictures I am proud of them as they were not clearly visible. It as happen just for 10 seconds that I could see them with my eyes, otherwise I relied on my camera to see and enjoy them!

I had two bad timing this year when I didn’t observe the northern lights in Estonia when huge solar storm project strong wind to the Earth creating impressive strips in the Baltic sky: one at the Saint Patrick’s day, and the second one week ago… since then I follow actively some websites keeping informed of the solar activity and probabilities to observe them in my sky.

I hope you enjoy the photos!
