If yesterday I had only my afternoon to visit a district, I took my whole day today to see two others. The second district is the smallest Paris has, but contain some building good to see.
Brief history of the second disctrict
The smallest district of Paris results from the city expansion during the XV and XVI centuries. Around the Bourse Palace was developed a business area. Located in the north of the 1st district, it has few interesting buildings, the Brongniart’s Palace and the National Library are the most remarkable.
