The new Helsinki

Helsinki, the capital of Finland is just at two hours by ferry from Tallinn. I went there two times, during winter and spring, with too much snow and too much sun!

The trip

So I know the two face of the town, even if I never spend more than one day. I don’t want to choose, the place is quite nice, very modern, in total opposition with Tallinn. I don’t know any restaurants there, except fast foods, but knows you can easily eat good food. In Helsinki the life is more expensive than in Tallinn, we saw salads for 14euros. Don’t be surprised, bring your food and enjoyed the place.

My first visit was during the Lapland trip, we discovered the city center under snow, and the frozen see on the way which is very beautiful. We had been to Helsinki again in spring when the sun was started to be really hot. The contrast was really impressive after only two months. We walk around the town.
