Tallinn old town from Raekoda

A perfect point of view

A day after my Polish friend left me for England I spend a morning with one other whom I didn’t see in weeks and that was in Tallinn. We met for coffee on Raekoja plats and later get to enjoy the perfect weather we currently have in Tallinn.

I have seen many times the attraction but never desired to go up the town hall tower. Curious and with the company of a friend that could go back to Turkey for ever, I decided to give it a try and what a view! That is better than from Saint Olaf tower, the only drawback I can find is the very narrow space up in the tower in which no more than five people can fit. It is difficult to move around there…

After this stunning view we got pastries in Viru in a park over the flower shops.

The Linnahall

We walked to the Linnahall from the east side, allowing me to show the air balloon and ferries that stay at the terminal. I show her a new point of view from where the Linnahall is visible from the side, and that is by the sea. At night many Estonian go there to chill and drink, at least in summer.
