Pirita beach and snow

I was organizing a Pub Crawl for Erasmus students from Lithuania, a little anxious I chose to follow my flatemates and our Polish friends to Pirita beach.

Cold day

I was in my dormitory all the morning when flatemates came and told me about a short tour on Pirita. I told I was in and start preparing myself. It is only when we went outside that I realised that I forgot to take gloves and warm hat! How can I continue to make this mistake after two years in the Baltic region?

With some organisation we took trolley and bus to stop near the convent’s ruins. We had a small walk to the sea and get impressed: it was entirely on ice! It looked so beautiful but freaking cold! On the beach the wind blown strongly.

Walking along a way going in the sea gave a nice view on the beach, the sailboats harbour complex and on the sea. A super sun and blue sky, it was almost perfect! I could try to walk on the ice, but not too far, I had no idea how deep it could have been under my foot…
