Little holidays in Tallinn

0

After two years my little Polish friend came back to Tallinn for a couple of days. We used to explore Tallinn together before having the chance to met in France and in Poland in 2013. I am surprised to say that she might have brought the sun from England as from the day she arrived the rain stop and the awesome weather began!

Panoramic views

In Tallinn you will find several panoramic viewpoints and during our two first days we went to two of the most famous: The Saint Olaf platform where Weronika and I had our best photos together the last time we were in Tallinn; and the terrace of Radisson Blu café in the centre. In this last hotel, I noticed a beauty saloon with a window on the opposite side of the terrace, through that window it was possible to see the beautiful hotel Olumpia!

We also have been to Telliskivi district and spend time on a flea market – I didn’t buy anything – and walked in and around the old town. Once again there was the Garden Festival in the Tornide park.

Sunbathing in Pirita

Our second day was more chill and focus on the sea side. The summer Estonian like (and love) to go lay on a beach. Pirita, the most popular one was then occupied by thousand of them! We managed to find a place where we stayed all afternoon, and where I got reddish a bit, becoming a lobster for a day.

Waterfall of Keila Joa

For the last day we had together I planed something special. We took a bus in the morning to go to the prettiest waterfall of Estonia, in Keila Joa. Weronika has never been there and loved it! We removed shoes and walked in water, climbed the rocks and I got that way new angle for photographing the falls.

After this refreshing time we ordered lunch at the bistro of Keila Joa and took the returning bus to Tallinn, and spend few hours in spa!

The three days I had with my friend went very fast, and remind me the good time of her Erasmus semester in Tallinn. Since we are both working it will be difficult to meet again soon, but I believe I can managed to find some days to go to England, as I know that now I have somebody to met there!
